In this news brief we had wanted to share a pleasant little report on the Cronos Christmas market, a look back on exciting team-building activities, or at the very least a group picture of the recently expanded team. Sadly enough, however, we are obliged to postpone all of these things due to the reasons we all know too well. We do indeed still want to use this year-end message to wish you all a wonderful holiday season!

Untranslate looks back at this time upon a strange, yet successful year. Although COVID-19 clearly had an impact on the practical organisation of our workday–and the content of certain projects–we did our utmost to remain in service for our clients efficiently and with a smile. These efforts paid off, as in 2020 Untranslate gained reinforcements, in addition to the helping hands of interns Lindsay, Ruben, Hatice and Maurits, with three new, permanent team members.

Elise, a French-speaking master of languages with experience in London and Paris, started in February. Kirsten has been with us since November and is a valuable asset for us in the area of project management. For all questions regarding personnel and organisation, Untranslate can now count upon Els, who was added to the team in August. Thanks to their expertise and the challenging projects–that came about as a result of the Corona virus–we are offering our clients an even better service, with yet even more business acumen.

In the meantime, we are looking ahead to the coming year, because Untranslate wants to start 2021 with cautious optimism. We are hoping that it may be a year of transition! We are hoping that the daily life of 2021 can look quite different than in the preceding months, both in the office as well as in our free time. We are looking forward to the moment in which we are able to meet each other again in person. As such, if all goes well, then next year we can indeed present you with a lovely team-building photo!
